The Baltimore Ravens drafted outside linebacker Tavius Robinson in the fourth round of the 2023 NFL Draft. Robinson is from Canada, and when COVID-19 struck the world, he had to make adjustments to his career plans.
Robinson was asked how he landed at Ole Miss after having aspirations of playing in the CFL, and shared his unique story. He said that he ended up sending his tape “everywhere”, and that Ole Miss was one of his first SEC offers. He chose them, and now is realizing another incredible opportunity of playing in the NFL.

“I played two years of university football up here in Canada, and then when Covid happened, everything got shut down here. Football got canceled. At that point, I was sending out my tape everywhere, trying to get a school in the States. Then, Ole Miss was one of my first SEC offers, so that’s how I ended up at Ole Miss. Then, I had three years there, and now I’m here.”
