The Baltimore Ravens held their final game of the 2022 preseason against the Washington Commanders in Week 3. The team is trying to move past an injury-riddled 2021 season where many of their players were forced out of action with previous ailments. However, the injury bug hit a different part of the team on Saturday night.
During halftime, Baltimore’s mascot, Poe, suffered what appears to be a leg injury and had to be carted off of the field. The mascot appeared to get hurt while getting tackled during a mascot vs. youth game, and was immediately tended to by trainers.
Injury update from Ravens’ preseason finale: Poe, the mascot, was carted off the field at halftime.

It’s unclear the severity of the injury, but another mascot was spotted shortly after, with speculation of who was behind the costume.
Poe has returned to the field.
Speculation in the media room is it being a different person.
