The Baltimore Ravens have seen long snapper Nick Moore ascend into a Pro Bowl talent ever since replacing long-time long snapper Morgan Cox. He has established a rapport with the special teams unit, and has been another gem of a find for Balitmore.
Moore was gearing up for another big year as the team’s long snapper in 2023. However, on Monday Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reported that Moore suffered a torn achilles while preparing for the 2023 season, prompting Baltimore to bring in a trio of long snappers for a workout to replace him.
Ravens LS Nick Moore tore his Achilles while training in preparation for the season. That explains why Ravens had a long snapper tryout today that was won by former Seattle Seahawk and 2020 Pro Bowl selection, Tyler Ott. @AaronWilson_NFL first reported Ott's pending signing.
