The Baltimore Ravens beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27-22 on Thursday night, but the victory didn’t come easy. The first half was a struggle for the offense that saw quarterback Lamar Jackson throw the ball 30 times compared to just seven runs. However, the unit adjusted at halftime and played a phenomenal second half, with the whole team looking confident.
Ravens head coach John Harbaugh talked to the media after the game and was asked about the mentality of the team during halftime of the game. He mentioned how it was disappointing, but there was no one yelling or screaming in the locker room.

“I think it’s disappointing, frustrating, whatever you want to say, but there’s nobody in the locker room screaming; nobody’s upset. Everyone just kind of locks in, [we] talk about what we need to do and come out and try to do it in the second half. We were able to finish again. Fourth quarter, we talked a little bit about that; that was nice to see. So, I’m proud of our guys. Lamar [Jackson], to your point, probably does lead the charge on that.”
The game plan changed after halftime and the Ravens were able to score 24 second-half points without key members of their offense. The performance gives hope that the team can take the momentum from their two-game winning streak into their Week 9 game with the New Orleans Saints.
