The Baltimore Ravens concluded their mandatory minicamp after a successful three days of practices. Players both new and old are getting more comfortable with each other both on and off the field, and every snap is important to building a solid rapport with teammates.
One of the many Baltimore players to speak to the media after the practices was defensive lineman Justin Madubuike. The third-year player was asked about the benefits of having defensive lineman Calais Campbell as a teammate, and Madubuike praised the veteran in a multitude of different ways.
“He’s a Year 15 guy, so he knows the ins-and-outs of the National Football League. He’s a great guy, great player, Walter Payton Man of the Year. What more can you ask for, really, from a vet? The best advice he gave me – just keep working. He tells me to just keep working, don’t get satisfied, stay hungry.”

Another year of Madubuike means another year of growth for the former Texas A&M star. He has shown numerous flashes over his first two seasons, and if he can take another step in the right direction he could become a major contributor on the Ravens’ defensive line.
