The Baltimore Ravens just finished up their football school for a second-consecutive week. It was good to see some players back at the facility with teammates to participate, as they’re able to build team chemistry and camaraderie early in the offseason process before the year starts.
One of the players who Baltimore is expecting to play a big role for them in 2023 is defensive lineman Michael Pierce, who only played in three games during the 2022 season after tearing his biceps. Ravens defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald was asked about Pierce, and expressed his excitement about having him patrol the middle of the defensive line.

“It’s been great to see Mike [Pierce], and you guys saw the start that he was off to last year, so it was disappointing to lose him. It was an opportunity for the other guys to step in and do a good job for us in the middle. I can rattle off all those guys, but you know them. They just do a great job, but having Mike back in the middle of the defense will definitely be a big point of contention for us moving forward. I’m excited to see what he does.”
