The Baltimore Ravens currently hold the No. 14 pick in the 2022 NFL draft. That could provide them with the opportunity to trade up to select a falling star in the top-10 if need be, whether it be at a position at need or elsewhere.
There have been multiple prospects outlined as potential prospects who could fall from where they’re currently projected to go. One of those players is not Ikem Ekwonu out of North Carolina State, who is projected by many to go in the top seven and shouldn’t fall much further than that if he does drop. However, he would be a phenomenal fit for Baltimore, and is one of the best offensive linemen in the 2022 class.

Ekwonu is extremely physical, and imposes his will on almost every play. He is also good in space and can move at a high level, which allows him to get to the second level with ease. His high-IQ speaks for itself on the football field, and he also has the versatility to play multiple spots on the offensive line.
While it’s extremely unlikely that Ekwonu falls anywhere near the 14th overall selection, if the Ravens like him enough to move up high into the area of the top-10 to select him, it could be worth the price. He has the makings of an immediate impact starter, and would shore up a number of Baltimore’s shortcomings on their offensive line.
