Puerto Rican superstar Rauw Alejandro is set to release his fifth studio album, 'Cosa Nuestra,' on Friday, a project that marks a significant shift in his musical direction. The album draws inspiration from classic sounds of the '60s and '70s Nuyorican era, blending traditional Puerto Rican genres like salsa and merengue with contemporary reggaeton influences.
One of the standout features of 'Cosa Nuestra' is the innovative use of samples, including tracks from iconic artists like Willie Colón, Héctor Lavoe, and Frankie Ruiz. The album also boasts collaborations with industry heavyweights such as Pharrell Williams, Bad Bunny, and Feid, adding a new dimension to Alejandro's musical repertoire.
