Rate the Newcastle United players from Brighton win leaving Champions League football within reach

Eddie Howe and Newcastle United took an almighty step towards Champions League football next season with an emphatic 4-1 win over European hopefuls Brighton. The Seagulls blew Arsenal out of the water at the weekend and came to St. James' Park full of hope but were no match for the Magpies.

The Toon came racing out of the blocks and penned Brighton in their own half. Had it not been for Jason Steele in the Brighton goal, it could have been a cricket score.

A Deniz Undav own goal and a Dan Burn header gave the Magpies the lead at half-time, but Roberto De Zerbi's side halved the deficit after the break. Undav made amends for his earlier error and got the visitors back in the game.
