Liverpool's 18-month unbeaten home run came to an end this evening as they lost 2-1 to Leeds United.
Rodrigo's early goal and the eventual winner from Crysencio Summerville earned Jesse Marsch's side a first victory in nine to pull them out of the bottom three, with Mohamed Salah's first-half leveller not enough to push Jurgen Klopp's side on.
The Reds have now lost consecutive Premier League games against sides who started the game in the bottom three, and sit ninth - eight points off fourth place in Newcastle.

Leeds were able to manipulate the game to suit their strengths from minute one, with Joe Gomez' s loose pass forcing Alisson to turn quickly, but the Brazilian slipped as Rodrigo managed to run the ball into an empty net inside four minutes. Liverpool managed to pull a leveller back quickly when a second-phase set-piece found Salah to hook the ball in.
But neither Liverpool nor the Anfield crowd managed to whip into the frenzied atmosphere that has for so long pulled them forward, and despite a number of chances presenting themselves, Leeds stopper Meslier was outstanding. And with just one minute of normal time remaining, 18-year-old Wilfred Gnonto knocked a ball into the Liverpool box, and Patrick Bamford's touch fell to Summerville who stabbed home.
