Liverpool’s third pre-season friendly ended in victory as the Reds thumped RB Leipzig 5-0 tonight.
Jurgen Klopp’s side took the lead in the opening 45 minutes courtesy of a cool finish from Mohamed Salah, who slotted into the bottom left corner after effective link-up play with Roberto Firmino.
The Reds made a number of changes at the start of the second half, with Darwin Nunez in particular making a huge impact - and bagging four goals. His first was from the spot, before three more followed to complete the rout.
