Liverpool are out of the Champions League after losing 6-2 to Real Madrid on aggregate in the last-16 of the competition.
After losing 5-2 in the first leg of the knockout tie at Anfield, Liverpool came to the Spanish capital knowing they needed to win by four goals, but were beaten 1-0 in a timid performance.
Jurgen Klopp's side managed to muster some half chances in the first half of the game, but failed to really trouble the Madrid defence before Karim Benzema won the game for his side late in the second period.
