Leeds United were on the wrong end of another Manchester City rout this evening, losing 4-0 at Elland Road. The result left Leeds in 17th place, five points above Everton who have two games in hand.
City went into the match needing a win after Liverpool went top of the league thanks to a 1-0 win over Newcastle United earlier today. However, City did not let the pressure get to them, and instead battled to a 4-0 win, having already beaten Leeds United 7-0 in December.
The goals for Manchester City came from Rodri, Nathan Ake, Gabriel Jesus and Fernandinho. Leeds started with Rodrigo up front but were unable to get much happening up front.

More concerning for Leeds was an injury to Stuart Dallas that saw him stretchered off the pitch. There is no news yet as to what exactly the injury is and how long he might be out, but Jesse Marsch said he thinks it's "not good".
Junior Firpo also started in the match. He was replaced by Joe Gelhardt after 62 minutes, but it did not bring any hoped-for goals.
