Everton secured another point in their fight to stay in the Premier League after drawing 0-0 at Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.
Sean Dyche's side are still in the thick of the relegation battle and despite taking a share of the spoils, they have slipped to 18th and into the bottom three after Leicester City won.
But it could have been worse after Mason Holgate was sent off for two yellow cards in the closing stages of a game in which Dominic Calvert-Lewin made his long-awaited return from injury.

Relegation rivals Leeds United were beaten in the early kick-off at Fulham before Everton's Merseyside neighbours Liverpool did them a favour by winning 3-2 at home to Nottingham Forest, who fell to second from bottom above Southampton.

The Blues return to action on Thursday when they welcome Champions League-chasing Newcastle United to Goodison Park (7.45pm).
