The reviewer usually does them on his own, and brings along his camera. This time, he decided to bring along his dad.

The pair set off in Danny's new 'Rate My Takeaway' black van, boasting a luxurious looking interior. Surprisingly Danny, who is well known for his thick Yorkshire accent, sounds nothing like his southerner dad.

The YouTuber was wearing a bright red hoodie with 'Barnsley through and through on it', meanwhile his dad, who calls his son 'chunk', dressed up in his best dressed suit. Asking why his dad wanting to join him, in similar charm to his son, he said: "Well I want to add a bit of finesse to it."

One YouTube commenter @kjk1 said: "Unsurprisingly Danny's dad is every bit as likeable and charming as he is. He doesn't look old enough to be his dad though."

They got on the road and Danny started to sing "oh we're off to the piggies, three little piggies". While driving to the venue, Danny laughed as he revealed his dad is a Slimming World consultant. Danny spoke about his journey revealing he lost three stone thanks to the company.

Walking into the Three Little Pigs, Danny asked for recommendations, and ordered the pair two breakfasts and two pork sandwiches "with everything on". Danny got a custard slice for his dessert and a water, and his dad got an éclair and a cup of tea.

Danny always eats outside the takeaways but as it was raining the pair decided to set up his classic table inside the Rate My Takeaway van. The dad and son duo tried the breakfast which included bacon, mushrooms, a fried egg, a hash brown, two sausages, beans, and tomatoes, topped off with some rocket.

Danny was left in stitches when his dad said: "I am not a sausage lover". "It's got a nice texture", Danny said as he tucked into the hash brown.

Danny concluded: "Beautiful sausage there, we've got nice crispy bacon - the flavour of them both absolutely gorgeous. The beans were spot on. As far as a breakfast goes I think it is bang on." His dad said he would have liked a black pudding added onto it.

Next they dived into the famous pork sandwich from the eatery. "That apple sauce is amazing", Danny said. "Beautiful breadcake I'm telling you. That is amazing. I can't believe the amount you get." "You don't get that much [pork] in a carvery", his dad added.

Danny next tried the custard slice but said it could have been filled more on the edges. But diving into he said: "How can you not like that?"

Danny said value for money it was spot on and the presentation was "great". "It's probably one of the best café breakfasts I've had in a while."

Danny rated the spot 10/10. His dad gave it a 9.5 as he said the éclair pastry was a little dry.
