The Kansas City Chiefs appear to have found a special talent in rookie receiver Rashee Rice, who has earned some seriously impressive grades from Pro Football Focus to this point in the 2023 season.
According to PFF, Rice is the Chiefs’ top-graded rookie and ranks just outside the top 10 among all wide receivers in the NFL through Week 5.

While he hasn’t yet taken on a featured role in Andy Reid’s offense, these high marks are a sign that Rice’s breakout may be on the horizon, and Kansas City’s Week 6 matchup against the Denver Broncos may be the perfect time for him to come into his own.
For now, Rice is still competing against Kadarius Toney, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Justin Watson for snaps, but if his impressive run of dominance continues in the coming weeks, the rookie pass catcher can be expected to earn a more substantial target share in the near future.
