They're the queens of photoshop and famous for their love of a filter.
But sometimes, even the Kardashians let fans get a glimpse of their natural beauty.
Just this weekend, stunning untouched pictures emerged of Kim and Khloe Kardashian modelling swimwear for Kim's SKIMS line as they celebrated Khloe's 38th birthday.
Looking toned, tanned and gorgeous, the pair proudly showed off their real looks as they sauntered along the beach in barely-there swimwear.
But the uncharacteristically honest display came on the back of an earlier upload to Kim's Instagram account, where fans accused her of photoshopping images of her and Khloe frolicking in the ocean.

"Their waists look so photoshopped," one follower accused, while another wrote: "The photoshop of it all. Kim’s waist looks ridiculous in slide two waving around like that and Khloe’s is completely uneven."
Khloe has previously defended her right to use filters, penning an emotional statement when an assistant accidentally uploaded an unedited bikini picture in April 2021 that went viral.
"The colour edited photo was taken of Khloé during a private family gathering and posted to social media without permission by mistake by an assistant,” Tracy Romulus, chief marketing officer for KKW Brands, told the New York Post's Page Six.
"Khloé looks beautiful but it is within the right of the copyright owner to not want an image not intended to be published taken down."
Desperate to get it removed from the internet, threats of legal action were reportedly levied against some publications, and Khloe argued that she had every right to choose what image of herself she presents to the world.
She explained: "The photo that was posted this week is beautiful. But as someone who has struggled with body image her whole life, when someone takes a photo of you that isn't flattering in bad lighting or doesn't capture your body the way it is after working so hard to get it to this point — and then shares it to the world — you should have every right to ask for it to not be shared.
"In truth, the pressure, constant ridicule and judgment my entire life to be perfect and meet standards of how I should look has been too much to bear."
She continued: "For over a decade now in photos, every single flaw and imperfection has been micro-analyzed and made fun of to the smallest detail and I am reminded of them [every day] by the world.
"And when I take that criticism to use as motivation to get myself in the best shape of my life... I am told that I couldn't have done it through hard work and I must have paid for it all.
"My body, my image and how I choose to look and what I want to share is my choice. It's not for anyone to decide or judge what is acceptable or not anymore."
Meanwhile, her little sister Kylie Jenner, 24, has been calling for a move away from photo edits. In March 2021 she posted an unedited shot of herself, and told fans: “We gotta get back to the no filter life."
Kourtney Kardashian, 43, seemingly shares those views and regularly shares unfiltered bikini snaps to her Instagram page.
Inspirational Kendall Jenner, 26, wore her acne scars with pride at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards, and hit back when critics took aim at her skin after seeing the unedited pictures.
“I was feeling good about myself, and then when people say mean things, I’m like, ‘I know I have a zit. I know I’m breaking out. You guys don’t have to keep pointing it out. I obviously see that, but let me live,’” the supermodel told Allure magazine.
Matriarch Kris Jenner, 66, has made no secret of her love of a face lift. But at the Met Gala in May, the beautiful business mogul heavily photoshopped an image of herself getting ready that was in stark contrast to the unedited picture from the red carpet. And fans were loving the unedited version, celebrating Kris for embracing her natural skin.
And all-natural photos of Kim, 41, wearing a bikini on a beach on Mexico recently resurfaced on Reddit, with fans flooding the page with compliments.
One wrote: "This is how anybody looks unedited. Cellulite is so normal whatever size you're at and it shows depending on lighting."
Another added: "As much as these pics hurt Kim to be released it was important for young women to see that Instagram does not reflect real life."
At the time the images were taken, Kim was just recovering from two womb surgeries and struggled to cope with people seeing the pictures.
"I was already not feeling like myself and when people were like sharpening them and making them look way worse and then those were going around," she said on US TV show The View.
"I definitely was not in my best shape. I hadn't worked out in about 12 weeks, I'd had two surgeries on my uterus.
"I was like 'OK, I'm going to get it together' and I started working out with this bodybuilder girl."
