A rare banknote featuring a young Queen Elizabeth II was among nearly 160 lots of rare banknotes that raised £85,860 at auction after being donated to a British Heart Foundation charity shop in Edinburgh. The collection was sold by specialist auction house Noonans on October 14, with the proceeds going towards lifesaving research into heart and circulatory diseases.
