A rare cask of Macallan single malt whisky, which until recently lay forgotten in a warehouse for more than 30 years, has just for more than £1 million at auction.
Thought to be a record price for a whisky cask, its owner originally paid just £5,000 for it.
Bids came in from all around the world for The 374-litre refill butt, which was filled back in 1988, with the online auction ending on Sunday evening (March 24).
