A coin collector has explained a rare 50p coin is worth up to 90 times its value.
The EU presidency inspired 50p piece is one of only 109,000 ever produced. It is dated with two years, 1992 and 1993, when the UK was president of the European Council of Ministers, and the Single Market was completed.
The coin was designed by Mary Milner Dickens and shows a conference table from above surrounded by 12 chairs, which illustrates the EU's Council of Ministers. An estimation by collector Crawley Coins puts the coin's value at up to £60, 120 times its value - as Mirror Online reports.
