Rapist Police Scotland officer first arrested and released 17 years ago

A FORMER Police Scotland officer convicted of multiple sexual offences, including rape, was first reported to the police 17 years ago.

This week, Campbell Petrie, 50, was found guilty of nine charges at the High Court in Glasgow, including two of rape, as well as indecent assault, assault with intent to rape and assault to injury and danger of life.
