The son of Norway’s crown princess broke down in tears during his first day of testimony as he stands accused of rape and more than 30 other alleged offences.
Marius Borg Høiby, 29, son of Crown Princess Mette-Marit and stepson to Crown Prince Haakon, appeared overwhelmed as he spoke in court today. He stopped several times to take off his glasses and wipe away tears. He said it was very difficult to speak and said he had been hounded by the press since he was three-years-old.
