NAGPUR: Two tons and a strike each by three pacers late Sunday saw Vidarbha further tighten its grip on the Elite Group 'A' Ranji Trophy match against Jharkhand. Chasing a 429-run target, Jharkhand were tottering at 51 for 3 by the end of Day 3 in Ranchi.
Starting the day with a lead of 220 runs, Vidarbha's overnight unbeaten batters Atharva Taide and Dhruv Shorey went on to score centuries to bat Jharkhand out of the match. They were hardly challenged as Jharkhand bowlers dished out a listless show.
