NEW DELHI: Veteran Cheteshwar Pujara exhibited his insatiable appetite for runs, notching up his 17th double hundred in first-class cricket in Saurashtra's Ranji Trophy opener against Jharkhand on Sunday.
Unbeaten on 157 from the previous day, Pujara scored an incredible 243 not out off 356 balls, steering Saurashtra to 578/4 (declared) in response to Jharkhand's paltry 142 in their first innings.
