Tranmere Rovers have thanked Josh McPake after his loan spell from Rangers came to a close.
The Coatbridge winger has spent the majority of this season in the EFL with League One side Morecambe and the fourth tier team managed by Micky Mellon.
Overall he's played 21 times with one goal amid injury issues throughout the term.
McPake now heads back to Rangers, where his future is uncertain amid reports he could be released from his contract at Ibrox.
A loan to Tranmere was his fifth after time at Morton, Dundee, Harrogate Town and Morecambe.
Mellon said: “I’d like to wish all of the players who are departing all of the best for the future and thank them for their efforts whilst with us."
Rovers' club statement added: "Another thank you to Ross Doohan, Josh McPake, Paul Glatzel, and Lewis Warrington who will return to their parent clubs after their loan spell."
