Rangers vs Napoli in group A of the Champions League has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 14 it has been confirmed.
Matchday one of the group stage saw Liverpool defeated by 4-1 by Napoli, while Rangers were beaten 4-0 away at Ajax. Both the Reds and Rangers will hope to turn things around and put points on the board in their second game.
While Jurgen Klopp 's side are understood to be gearing up for the visit of Ajax on Tuesday night, the other fixture in the group has been moved as a result of limited police resources following the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II earlier this week. Football across the United Kingdom was postponed this weekend as the nation entered a period of mourning.

The majority of the Champions League games are unlikely to be impacted in the week, but tens of thousands of mourners are expected in Edinburgh early in the week as the Queen's coffin will rest for 24 hours at St Giles Cathedral to allow people to pay their respects before it's transported to London. As a result, Rangers have been in discussion with UEFA and agreed to push the game against Napoli back a day.
The Scottish Premiership club released a statement on Sunday saying: "Rangers can today confirm the upcoming UEFA Champions League match with SSC Napoli at Ibrox has been rescheduled for Wednesday, 14 September at 8pm. This is due to the severe limitations on policing resources and organisational challenges related to the ongoing events surrounding the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
"Rangers, of course, recognise this switch in date will inconvenience a number of our loyal supporters, and refunds will be available to those unable to attend the match. Additionally, no away supporters will be present at the match, allowing the club to make additional tickets available to MyGers members as a priority.
"UEFA have also confirmed that as a matter of sporting integrity, no Rangers fans will be permitted to attend the return fixture in Naples."
The group stage will then continue after the international break at the end of the month with Liverpool set to host Rangers on October 4 and the return trip to Ibrox on October 12. The Reds will then face Ajax away on October 26 before they welcome Napoli to Anfield on November 1 in their final match of the group.
Klopp's side were out of action over the weekend after their game against Wolves was postponed and as things stand, there remains doubt over whether the away clash against Chelsea will go ahead next weekend. There have been some reports that the Premier League could move the London-based games to away fixtures, although the idea is 'unlikely to be popular' with the clubs expected to host the game.
