'Offensive banner' at Rangers vs Aberdeen clash sees man charged

A man has been charged in connection with an 'offensive' banner that was allegedly unfurled during the recent Rangers v Aberdeen game.

A flag allegedly reading 'kill all h**s' was spotted in the stands during the Scottish Premiership match at Ibrox Glasgow on Saturday, October 29. Police Scotland received a report regarding the banner in the second half of the match.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said enquiries would be carried out and they have since confirmed that a 33-year-old man has been charged in connection with the incident.

He is due to appear in court at a later date.

They said: "A 33-year old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an offensive banner being held up at a football match at Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow on Saturday, October 29, 2022.

"He has been released on an undertaking to appear in court at a later date."
