Rangers v Motherwell: How to watch Premiership clash at Ibrox, and who is the referee

Motherwell travel to face Rangers at Ibrox on Sunday, as they go in search of a first league win of 2022.

Graham Alexander's side go into the clash on the back of a decent double-header against Aberdeen that saw the Fir Park side progress to the Scottish Cup quarter-finals, before drawing 1-1 with the Granite City club.

A poor start to the year has seen the Steelmen drop down to sixth place, and they're badly in need of a win.

However, that's easier said than done against a Rangers side that are unbeaten in their last 33 home league matches.

Rangers go into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw at Dundee United, and drew 2-2 with Borussia Dortmund last night to win 6-4 on aggregate and progress to the Europa League last 16.

Motherwell haven't beaten Rangers in the league in their last 50 matches, and haven't won at Ibrox for 35 of those.

In previous meetings this season, Motherwell earned a 1-1 draw at Ibrox thanks to a Kaiyne Woolery strike, but Rangers then won 6-1 at Fir Park.

Motherwell fans can buy tickets for the clash at Ibrox, but Sunday's game, which kicks-off at 3pm, won't be shown live on TV. The only way to catch the game that way is via the online stream provided by Rangers TV.

For viewers in the UK and Republic of Ireland, RangersTV are streaming the game for £9.99 and you can sign up for the game on a pay-per-view basis here.

Man in the middle

Don Robertson is referee for the Premiership clash at Ibrox (SNS Group)

Don Robertson is in charge of the clash at Ibrox, and he will be assisted by Frank Connor, Craig Ferguson, and fourth official Colin Steven.

Robertson has taken charge of 27 games this season, issuing a whopping 98 yellow cards and five reds.

He last officiated a match involving Motherwell on Boxing Day when they beat Livingston 2-1 at Fir Park, and more recently was in charge of a Rangers fixture when they defeated the same opponents 1-0 at Ibrox on January 26.
