Rangers are reported as close to the signing of Ridvan Yilmaz from Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas.
The 21-year-old left-back is being eyed as a replacement for Calvin Bassey, who has banked his now former club serious cash with a deal in excess of £20 million taking him to Ajax. A left-sided defender who can play centre-back and left-back, Ben Davies has come in to fill the central position and Yilmaz is seen as the player to fill a void on the flank.
According to Murat Ozen of Turkish site Ortacizgi, a fee in the region of £5.3 million plus a 20% sell-on clause has been 'agreed' as Rangers move close to their next summer signing after Davies, John Souttar, Antonio Colak, Tom Lawrence, Rabbi Matondo and Malik Tillman. There's been plenty of contract extensions too, Allan McGregor, Connor Goldson, Steven Davis and Scott Arfield agreeing fresh terms with James Tavernier reportedly next.

Other claims from the Daily Mail also suggest that Yilmaz is 'keen to move to Glasgow.' He has been capped six times by Turkey.
Besiktas had originally demanded £6million for a player who is out of contract next summer but Rangers wanted the price lowered.
Tottenham provide a final pre-season task for Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men at Ibrox on Saturday before Premiership matches begin versus Livingston on July 30th.
