Indepeniente Medellin chief Daniel Ossa Giraldo insists they are due a cash windfall if former striker Alfredo Morelos chooses to leave Rangers.
The Colombian forward is currently on the injury comeback trail from a thigh problem that ended his 2021/22 season early. He has constantly been linked with moves away from Ibrox and Sevilla were one club recently linked with a move, although that speculation could be set to end with a new revelation that there are positive signs he could extend his Rangers contract. Giraldo will be hoping an exit does beckon at some stage, as he states his club still own 14% of the forward they sold to Helsinki in 2016.
Giraldo told the Daily Record : "With regards to Alfredo Morelos, I can tell you that we still hold a significant percentage of the player's rights. It is around 14 per cent which will be due to us when he is transferred from Rangers."

Van Bronckhorst said recently of the Colombian international signing a new contract: "He’s very positive about signing a new contract.
"We are doing our best to get Morelos to sign a new contract. Hopefully, in the next coming weeks we’ll sort it all out but still the talks are on-going."
The Dutchman is also hopeful of having him back for the Champions League third round qualifier second leg against Union-Saint Gilloise next week.
