Rangers are reportedly keen on signing Karlan Grant from English Championship side West Bromwich Albion, according to the Mirror.
The 25-year-old striker, who has represented England at youth level but is eligible to play for Scotland through his mother, only bagged three goals this season. However, he netted 18 times in the second tier during the 2021/22 campaign. Rangers boss Michael Beale has been credited with an interest in the striker who signed for the Midlands club in 2020 from Huddersfield Town in a deal worth around £15million.
Beale is looking to revamp his squad in the summer with a number of high profile attacking players set to leave the club at the end of the month. Colombian striker Alfredo Morelos will depart when his contract is up, while Ryan Kent is also expected to leave at the end of his deal. Antonio Colak is believed to be wanted by a number of clubs in the USA and Germany with bids already rejected in January for the Croatian international striker.
it comes after Ryan Jack was reportedly offered a one-year deal which will keep him in Govan for another season. His contract is also due to expire at the end of the current campaign.
