The clock is ticking for Rangers as boss Michael Beale looks to add to his squad before the January window slams shut.
Todd Cantwell's arrival from Norwich City is the only incoming player so far this month at Ibrox as Beale looks to put his own stamp on the Light Blues' dressing room, but he looks unlikely to be the last with a hectic end to the month on the cards for the Ibrox boss. Beale has spoken openly about his interest in Morgan Whittaker and Nicolas Raskin but talks could rumble on until deadline day with Swansea City and Standard Liege taking hardline stances.
There is also a risk of outgoing players with both Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos likely to attract interest before we hit February with clubs eyeing a bargain. Both players are out of contract and the summer and the Ibrox hiearchy risk losing the duo for nothing in the summer if they don't opt to cash-in.

Morgan Whittaker
Fringe star Morgan Whittaker could find himself moving to the forefront of Russell Martin's Swansea City plans - dealing a major blow to Rangers bid to land the star. Record Sport understands Rangers have already had two offers turned down by the English Championship side but will try to finally negotiate a deal this month.
Reports in England suggest Swansea attacker Michael Obafemi is set to join table-topping Burnley for a fee believed to be in the region of £4million. That could leave the Martin short of attacking options as he looks to push to the playoff spots this term.
Artem Dzyuba
A surprise name has been touted with a move to Rangers in Russia - Artem Dzyuba. The 34-year-old has been a free agent since November when his contract with Turkish side Adana Demirspor was terminated.
Beale is short of options up front with Antonio Colak making his way back from injury, while Kemar Roofe is set for a spell on the sidelines after another injury blow. That leaves Alfredo Morelos as the only option at Ibrox - with the Colombian's contract set to expire in the summer.
Russian outlet RB Sport reported interest from the Light Blues' interest in Dzyuba. However, sporting director Ross Wilson is quoted in the article ruling out the move. Asked about an approach, he said: “Dzyuba? It’s not for us.”
Ryan Kent
Leicester are reportedly considering a late move for Ryan Kent this month with their hopes of adding Jack Harrison from Leeds United rapidly fading. The Yorkshire side are reportedly unwilling to allow the winger to leave Elland Road for a Premier League side as it stands.
90 min report that the Kent "remains a possible option in the final days before the transfer deadline" as the Foxes weigh up their options. They note that Brendan Rodgers is already "familiar" with the 26-year-old from his time at Celtic.
Kent if out of contract in the summer and could agree a pre-contract switch this month. A move to the King Power Stadium this month would allow Rangers to recoup a transfer fee for their key man.
Nicolas Raskin
Ronny Deila has swerved speculation over Nicolas Raskin with speculation over a move to Rangers gathering pace. The former Celtic boss had dropped the midfielder to the Standard Liege B team after he failed to agree a new contract.
Having been asked about the midfielder and a host of other exits this month, the boss joked: "I'm glad it's not my first job. I have to manage a lot of things that are not necessarily sporting. There is a lot of politics involved."
