Thijs Dallinga doesn't look likely to have his future set at Rangers as he looks destined for a £2million move to recently-promoted Ligue 1 club Toulouse.
A clinical forward for Excelsior, the hitman enjoyed an outstanding season in the second tier of Dutch football, netting 31 times for the Rotterdam club. His form has generated interest from across the continent and Ibrox manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst is one of those believed to admire the 21-year-old.
Excelsior technical director Nick Kirsteb has acknowledged that the club's star forward will all but likely depart this summer and Ligue 2 champions Toulouse-have made their move first for him. They now await a response over whether or not £2m is enough to take Dalinga from the Netherlands. Kirsteb insists that they won't stand in the way of Dallinga if a bigger club from an elite league comes calling, but he is their man for now.

He told the Daily Record: "I think Dallinga can play one or two levels higher than Excelsior.
"If he gets the chance of moving to a better league, we have to accept that and not shut the door on him.
"There is a lot of interest for him so the opportunity is definitely there for him to play in a higher league."
Rangers are back in for pre-season training this week but fans are eager for signing news ahead of the Premiership season, with defender John Souttar their only confirmed deal so far.
