Rangers are reportedly monitoring Emmanuel Longelo as he looks set to leave West Ham United.
Hibs have also been credited with an interest in the 21-year-old Hammers full-back.
The Scottish Sun report Longelo, who made his debut in last season's Europa League, has decided to leave the London Stadium following a dearth of first-team opportunities.
And that's said to have attracted the Scottish Premiership duo, as well as a number of Premier League and EFL Championship clubs.
Those include Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest, who are both in the market for a left-back after their respective returns to the top-flight.
Rangers have Borna Barisic and Calvin Bassey on the left hand side of defence but the latter has emerged as a target for Aston Villa following an eye-catching end to the season, particularly in the Ibrox club's run to the Europa League Final.
Meanwhile, it's been claimed both Rangers and Celtic are "in talks" with winger Rabbi Matondo.
The 21-year-old Welshman is set to leave Schalke permanently and speculation is mounting over his next move.
He spent last season in Belgium with Cercle Brugge, scoring 10 goals in 27 appearances.
Wales Online report he's been offered to both the Glasgow giants, stating Matondo would be open to joining either club.
