Werder Bremen are set to face a fight for Rangers striker Antonio Colak's signature with a pair of Italian sides keen on the Ibrox striker.
The £2m-rated forward has earned admiring glances from the Bundesliga side but now Serie B rivals Parma and Pisa are understood to be keen to land the Croatia international this summer. The 29-year-old netted 18 goals in his debut season at Ibrox but he tailed off a red-hot start. And his immediate future has been cast into doubt with Michael Beale adding three first-team forwards in Abdallah Sima, Sam Lammers and Cyriel Desssers. And that could become four with Feyenoord striker Danilo on the Rangers radar.
Colak has experience of playing in Germany after previously starring for four clubs including Hoffenheim and Kaiserslautern. And now interest from Italy also appears set to be ramped up - according to the Scottish Sun - with the potential Serie B title rivals aiming to add guaranteed goals in their bid to return to the top flight. Beale appears set to move on from the forward who was signed when predecessor Gio Van Bronckhorst was at the helm.
And Colak could be joined out the door by Glen Kamara and Scott Wright with the pair understood to be attracting interest from the English Championship. Potential exits could pave the way for new arrivals with the aforementioned Danilo a wanted man and long-term target Jose Cifuentes expected to leave LAFC for Ibrox with the clubs in ongoing talks over his services.
