Falkirk has announced the signing of Rangers striker Juan Alegria on a season-long loan deal with an option to recall after six months.
The League One club has been rebuilding in an attempt to get out of the third-tier doldrums and John McGlynn has been brought in as the experienced boss to do so. He's already signed Ibrox starlet Kai Kennedy as the Bairns stand one game away from winning a Premier Sports Cup group with Hibs in it, and Alegria is their next recruit in attack.
Since arriving from Finnish side Honka, the youngster has spent time in the Ibrox 'B' team and a stint on loan at Partick Thistle. Bairns manager John McGlynn said: “We are delighted to welcome Juan to the football club. He’s a player we have been after for some time. We witnessed him playing for Partick Thistle last season and he’s a young, hungry, and hardworking striker who I am sure will kick on.
