CELTIC were told by Rangers that there was no CCTV footage available after broken glass was found in Joe Hart's goalmouth during a derby clash at Ibrox last season.
As the teams remerged for the second-half of the game, Hart pointed out to referee Willie Collum that there were shards of glass within his box.
The official called health and safety staff on to the field to remove the hazards.
Play was held up for five-minutes, as TV cameras caught the scenes.
The match ended 2-1 to Celtic, as they took a huge stride towards securing the title.
Speaking at today's AGM, Michael Nicholson was asked how the glass ended up on the pitch. He replied: "I don’t know.
"I didn’t receive any update on how that got on the pitch. We were told there was no CCTV.
"It’s a poor show but we’ll discuss that with the club in question privately and appropriately."
Rangers have been approached for comment.
