Rangers target Danilo has delivered a potential hint over his future for next season.
The hitman - who the Light Blues have already had a bid booted out for - could yet leave the Eredivisie champions if the right price is met with the Dutch outfit looking to fund a revamp for their own Champions League journey. The 24-year-old is believed to remain on the radar of the Ibrox side despite the additions of Cyriel Dessers and Sam Lammers as Michael Beale bids to add strength and depth to his forward line for the season ahead.
Arne Slot pitched the Brazilian from the start in a pre-season win over PEC Zwolle as preparations for the defence of their crown begin. The forward, who hit the back of the net in the 3-1 success, was put on club media duties following the match and he issued a glowing report about the new-look team. He also insisted it was 'just the beginning' while also stating how 'easy' it is to play with his fellow forward players due to their connection.
