Rangers star Scott Arfield is raffling off a special match-worn top celebrating the life of Queen Elizabeth II.
The Gers played Dundee United at Ibrox on Saturday, September 17 and to mark Her Majesty's passing they had a special message embroidered onto their jerseys. Now, West Lothian man, Scott Arfield, has decided to donate his top to a local charity to raise some cash for people in need.
He has created an online fundraising page and for a chance to win the top punters simply have to donate £10 and a winner will be drawn randomly. Funds raised will be donated to Carers of West Lothian, who offer a range of services for unpaid carers and disabled people.
The embroidered message sits between the club crest and kit manufacturers logo and reads: 'Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 1926 - 2022.' The match-worn strip is also signed by the current Ibrox side.
Scott asks that anyone entering leaves their Twitter or Instagram handle so they can be contacted after the draw. The prize draw was created yesterday and Gers fans have another few days before it closes on Saturday, September 24.
The Ibrox hero urged local people to dig deep and help a charity close to his heart, and so far over £1,000 has been raised.
He said: "Let’s raise as much money as possible for this brilliant charity and all the work they do for our family and friends.
"Like and keep sharing as much as you can. Thank you very much in advance."
Scott has previously raised cash for the Poppy Factory and Glasgow Children's Hospital raffling off jerseys.
Carers of West Lothian were delighted Scott decided to choose them this time and said the money will go towards helping people in the county.

Rangers held a minute's applause in memory of the Queen at the game against Dundee United, as the Gers ran out 2-1 winners on the day.
