RYAN KENT "has to bring more" to the table for Rangers this season.
That's the message from manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
The 25-year-old came under fire earlier this week for a lacklustre showing against Liverpool in the Champions League.
His talents were on show last weekend though at Tynecastle as he netted against Hearts.
And van Bronckhorst is keen to see the Englishman be more productive in the final third for the Ibrox side.
He told broadcast media: "He has to bring more. Ryan is an exceptional player with a lot of qualities.
"The performance he had against Hearts was a really good one. He gives us a threat going forward.
"I know that his qualities haven't been there in every game, he just has to be consistent to be dangerous so he can provide an assist or to score.
"He's already scored against Hearts, which is a great example of him coming in and hitting the target.
"He's definitely a player who can give us more goals and assists."
