Rangers star earns first full international call-up weeks after moving to Ibrox

Rangers star Min-su Kim has won his first call-up to the South Korean national team after a positive start at the club.

Following his move from Girona, the forward has made five appearances - four in the Premiership and one in the League Cup - and largely impressed playing either in a number 10 role or wide.

He started and played 74 minutes of yesterday's dominant win over Celtic in the Premier Sports Cup.

Kim has previously been in a South Korea under-23s squad, without actually appearing, but has now been moved up to the top team.

Interim head coach Robert Moreno today announced his squad for matches against Ecuador, Uruguay, Venezuela and Uzbekistan in the upcoming international window.

His 30-man squad features a large pool playing their club football in the K-League, as well as the likes of Kim, Lee Kang-in (Atletico Madrid), Son Heung-min (LAFC), Kim Min-jae (Bayern Munich), and Hwang Hee-chan (Schalke 04).
