Rangers star Borna Barisic 'wanted' by Trabzonspor with Turkish side keen on transfer

Rangers defender Borna Barisic is attracting interest from Trabzonspor, according to a report.

The left-back is currently on international duty with Croatia for their Nations League games and the Turkish giants have watched him in both matches so far.

Football Scotland say they will also have representatives at their clash with Denmark tonight in the third game of their group section.

They report that no official bid has been made yet but the Turkish side are very keen on the Rangers full-back and are likely to place an offer.

Trabzonspor ended last season as champions and will be in the Champions League next season at the play-off stage.

They are also said to be looking to sign AC Milan defender Fode Ballo-Toure.

Watford previously had a £2million bid booted out by Rangers for Barisic.

The Croatian has impressed under Giovanni van Bronckhorst and played a key part in Rangers' run to the Europa League and Scottish Cup Finals.

It's believed the 29-year-old isn't pushing to leave the Ibrox club and remains focused on Rangers.

He has been at the club for four years so far and made 155 appearances in all competitions.

He's netted seven goals and notched a whopping 35 assists.
