Rangers are still without several senior players as they prepare for the visit of Hearts in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday night.
The hosts arrive off the back of a shock defeat to St Johnstone, while the visitors travel to Glasgow following two consecutive league victories. Rangers have been underwhelming in recent weeks which has left them in second position and seven points off league leaders Celtic.
The Gers can, however, take solace in the fact that their record on home soil is the best in the league, having accumulated six wins and one draw from their seven fixtures at Ibrox. It's a big game with some major decisions for Gio van Bronckhorst to make amid his sizeable injury list. The Dutchman also insisted he is the man to turn things around and again pointed to the long injury list as a reason behind the poor form.
Fashion Sakala will miss Rangers' last two matches before the break for the World Cup after picking up a muscle injury against St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park on Sunday. Connor Goldson, Ryan Jack and Tom Lawrence are all suffering from long-term injuries and will not be involved until after the World Cup break.
Elsewhere, Ianis Hagi, John Souttar, Kemar Roofe, Ridvan Yilmaz and Filip Helander will all be out for the match due to nursing various concerns.
Predicted Rangers XI
Following a mounting list of injury woes, the Rangers boss isn't deep on options and he may opt for Rabbi Motondo on the right wing following Sakala's injury.
