But Glen Kamara will feel he has a strong claim to earn the nod if a change is made in the Ibrox midfield with the Finland international coming off the bench against Borussia Dortmund.
The quartet of Jon McLaughlin, Filip Helander, Amad Diallo and Kemar Roofe will hope for game time after not featuring against the Germans.
And Gio van Bronckhorst admits he'll be giving his starting XI serious thought as he aims to get Rangers back to winning ways domestically.
He said: "It’s been a demanding game, so we will probably need to assess players who played and prepare for the game on Sunday."
But wholesale changes seem unlikely with Celtic kicking off in the early clash with Hibs that could further stretch their advantage at the top of the table.
