James Tavernier received a one word message from England and Dortmund star Jude Bellingham after making his 350th appearance for Rangers at the weekend.
The Light Blues skipper walked out his troops as they made it two wins from two against Kilmarnock thanks to goals from summer signing Antonio Colak and returning star man Alfredo Morelos. Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men eliminated the German giants from the Europa League last season in stunning fashion with the midfielder playing a prominent role for his side. He was taken aback by Rangers' home as he labelled it 'what a gaff' and heaped praise on the atmosphere.
Fast forward six months and the 19-year-old was once again full of praise as he responded to Tavernier's Instagram post. The skipper posted an image of him leading out Rangers against Kilmarnock with the caption "350th appearance." A number of Rangers players past and present including Joe Aribo, Ianis Hagi, Leon Balogun, Rabbi Matondo and Andy Firth sent their congratulations.

But it was a message from Dortmund's Bellingham that stood out.
He simply wrote: "Player" with a fire emoji.
It's set to be a big week for Tavernier and Co as they bid to overturn a two goal deficit at Ibrox tomorrow night to keep their Champions League hopes alive. Van Bronckhorst's side went down two-nil in Belgium last week against Union Saint-Gilloise in their third qualifying round showdown.
The two sides meet again on Tuesday night with Monaco or PSV awaiting the winner in the play-off round. Should Rangers reach this stage they would move to within potentially just 180 minutes of the lucrative group stages alongside rivals Celtic.
