Motherwell's Premiership fixture with Rangers is set to move forward by 24 hours this weekend, according to a report.
The Ibrox club made the request to move Sunday's lunchtime game in order to help ease their fixture congestion amid a lengthy Europa League campaign.
A match move would give manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst an extra 24 hours to prepare for their semi-final first leg against RB Leipzig.
It's reported by the Daily Record that Motherwell are happy to agree to this fixture change after the champions made a request to the SPFL.
Sky Sports are broadcasting the fixture and they have also given the green light on their end for proceedings at Fir Park to move forward.
But no announcement can be made until Police Scotland give it the go-ahead on their end.
It's anticipated that an official word will be given today as the Steelmen look to shock Rangers and provide their European football hopes a boost after clinching a top six spot 10 days ago against Livingston.
