Rangers set to be granted SPFL wish as Motherwell fixture poised for new date after Ibrox request

Rangers SPFL Ibrox Steelmen

Motherwell's Premiership fixture with Rangers is set to move forward by 24 hours this weekend, according to a report.

The Ibrox club made the request to move Sunday's lunchtime game in order to help ease their fixture congestion amid a lengthy Europa League campaign.

A match move would give manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst an extra 24 hours to prepare for their semi-final first leg against RB Leipzig.
