Rangers have reportedly rejected a loan offer, with an option-to-buy, for Ridvan Yilmaz.
Sky Sports claims Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray have swooped in with a loan-to-buy offer in the region of €4m (£3.4m).
This has been knocked back by the Ibrox club, who are believed to be on the lookout for a new left-back this month.
The 22-year-old could potentially leave Glasgow this month as interest in the defender continues to mount across Europe.
He joined Rangers for £5m in the summer of 2022 but a combination of injuries and Borna Barisic's experience has kept him out of the side.
As well as Galatasaray lodging a bid, Hellas Verona is believed to be interested in Yilmaz.
They are weighing up an offer after ex-Hibernian ace Josh Doig headed for the exit door, joining Marseille. The Serie A side has yet to make an official approach, though.
Yilmaz has made just 13 Premiership appearances for Rangers so far this season, although his game time did increase in recent weeks up until the winter break under Philippe Clement.
Meanwhile, Sam Lammers has revealed he didn't have to leave Rangers to return to the Eredivisie and it was his decision to go out on loan.
The Dutch flop has returned to his homeland to join Utrecht on loan after a difficult six months at Rangers, who splashed out £3.5 million to land the former Atalanta striker.
Utrecht doesn't have an option to buy the 26-year-old former PSV Eindhoven forward and Lammers has insisted he could have stayed and fought for his place under Philippe Clement.
He said: "I really didn't necessarily have to leave Rangers, a wonderful club of course.
"But when you notice in conversations how much technical director Jordy Zuidam and the manager Ron Jans wanted to bring me to Utrecht, it made me think.
"That was very, very important to me and I'm really so happy to be here."
