Andy Halliday has questioned Rangers' recruitment process as he highlighted key positions that have been problematic for YEARS.
The former Light Blues and current Hearts star was discussing the weekend Old Firm hammering by Celtic and whether Giovanni van Bronckhorst was to blame for the heavy Parkhead defeat. He stopped short of putting the full responsibility on the manager as he presented four positional issues that have not been addressed in the side.
He also looked at the recent away record with Rangers picking up just six wins from 13 games on the road. He believes that sort of form is a concern and the Dutchman is not blameless for that statistic. But the Hearts star admits he's lost count over how many transfer windows that the Ibrox men have been trying to recruit in the right wing area while he pinpointed goalkeeper, creative goalscoring midfielder and a second centre half as other areas that they are short in.

Speaking on Clyde 1's Superscoreboard, he said: "I wouldn't go as far as blameless but I don't think he (Van Bronckhorst) was the main culprit for the weekend's performance.
"But if you look at the last 13 away games in this calendar year, they only won six, drawn five and two defeats. 22 goals for and 19 against.
"That's probably the biggest thing for me because that's plus three goal difference in 13 games so you can't say that Giovanni van Bronckhorst is blameless when that's the sort of record he's had.
"But I do look at Rangers' team and they're still lacking in the same problematic positions that we've been saying for the last two years.
"Even going into the summer, the goalkeeper and right wing positions. I've lost count of how many transfer windows Rangers have been trying to replace that right wing position.
"A creative goalscoring midfielder, I still don't think they've got. A second centre half. Connor Goldson's had four centre half partnerships, four. We're in the start of September. You can't blame the manager for that."
