Rangers player ratings vs St Mirren as Fashion Sakala grabs the headlines in Paisley win

Rangers ended the Scottish Premiership season on a high in the Paisley sunshine.

Fashion Sakala was the man of the moment in the early kick-off as his double coupled up with an Antonio Colak header downed St Mirren as the Light Blues head into the summer break in a positive mood ahead of a huge transition period under Michael Beale with the hard work already underway. Ibrox said farewell to Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent, Allan McGregor, Scott Arfield and Filip Helander last time out and now that the final league game has been and gone, so are the quintet and their time at the Light Blues.

Rangers have found solid domestic form under the new management regime since taking over from Giovanni van Bronckhorst late last year and they go into the break on the back of a 3-0 victory on the road. All focus now turns to a vitally important summer with many ins and outs expected over the coming weeks. Champions League qualifiers are on the horizon as well as the task of ending Celtic and Ange Postecoglou's domestic dominance next term. Here's how we rated the away side in this one.

Back in the side for McGregor after his Ibrox send-off. Has impressed to date for Beale. Brave to deny Curtis Main who was booked. Quiet afternoon overwise.

Skipper as always getting up and down the park. Incredible numbers yet again this season. Subbed.

John Souttar - 7

Three games in six days as he proves his fitness. A big pre-season to come as he bids to be key player. Got stuck in as per usual.

John Lundstram - 6

In at centre-back with Goldson and Davies out and King starting on the bench. Did well.

Ridvan Yilmaz - 7

Preferred once again over Borna Barisic. Has enjoyed his run in team and looks better each game. Stunning ball to send Sakala on his way to score opener. Played him pass in build-up to second. Subbed.

Ryan Jack - 6

A solid shift to finish season on a high after penning new deal. Scotland duty likely to beckon for the midfielder.

Todd Cantwell - 7

Oozing confidence and looking a real coup. Full of tricks and skill. Excellent first six months in Glasgow. Training ground corner routine paid off as he found Raskin to nod in Colak's path for easy goal.

Nicolas Raskin - 7

Striking up a real partnership with Cantwell. Busy player who loves to be on the ball. Set-up Colak's goal and Rangers' third.

Ianis Hagi - 6

A big afternoon once again for the Romanian as he picks up vital minutes. Back in international fold. Subbed.

Rabbi Matondo - 6

Offered another chance to show he can be part of things moving forward. Full of pace and went on excellent run from on half but effort flew over. Subbed.

Fashion JR - 9

Always a threat with pace and direct running. Skipped past two players for an excellent opener. His second was similar as he skipped by numerous players before firing home. Subbed.
