Malik Tillman was the hero for Rangers as they grabbed a vital 1-0 win over Hearts and three points for Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
The fan pressure on the Dutchman was huge going into this one with Hearts after falling seven points behind Celtic in the race for the title following Sunday's defeat at St Johnstone. Simply, this was a game the home side could not afford to lose and after the disappointment of the weekend, they managed to bounce back and claim a massive victory.
It may have not been a vintage performance at times but the Rangers players and staff will welcome a return to winning ways that keeps them ticking towards the World Cup break with one final fixture to come. After that lots of work on the training ground will be required and recovery period for key stars to get themselves fit for the second half of the season.
